  • My Preface: For all the Employers and Recruiters

This is a preface for all the times I’ve applied, and will continue to apply, to numerous jobs but have seemingly had no success in landing one.

I understand there’s always someone out there who has the experience and results that qualify them for the job. I also understand that I may not have all the resume metrics that some positions ask for. Every time I apply for a job, I go into it knowing I might be rejected — and what happens? A week later, or sometimes never, I receive the rejection email.

But rejection doesn’t stop me — it drives me. It pushes me to keep improving, and trying again. Still, it’s astounding how difficult it has become to find a job. Many “entry-level” roles require years of experience, and even “no experience necessary” positions often prefer candidates who already have it. It seems that young, hungry, and driven candidates are often left out of the equation.

Nowadays, the strategy to get noticed by recruiters and employers is to tailor your resume to match every job description. It’s a fair tactic — but I believe in being honest about my qualifications and confident in my potential.

I may not have the desired years of experience, but what I do have is:

    • A strong work ethic built from hands-on experience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
    • Proven leadership skills — I’ve trained team members and led teams, optimized workflows, and contributed to measurable improvements in performance and customer satisfaction.
    • A continuous drive to learn, grow, and contribute, no matter the role or challenge.
    • The ability to communicate clearly, connect with people, and adapt quickly to new systems and environments.

All I’m asking for is a chance — an opportunity to prove that my determination, work ethic, and willingness to learn can be just as valuable as years of experience. If you take that chance on me, I’ll make sure it’s a decision you won’t regret.
